Centrifugal disks is mainly composed of a motor, a process tank with a polyurethane coating.
The working tank consists of two parts : the upper part is fixed and the tank bottom plate is rotating or. A gap seal, separates these two portions. It must be rigorously controlled ; finally, the use of abrasive or parts whose size approaches that of the joint must absolutely be avoided. These equipments are well suited for polishing chips  or deburring.
During treatment, the movement of the workpieces is toroidal, due to the movement of the plate.
The energy generated by this type of equipment is approximately 5 times greater than in a vibrator.
However, it is about 5 times lower than in centrifugal barrel, which has not the disadvantage of having a seal to maintain.
